Back Again!

Near West Side is excited to have John McGivern back for another round of beers and laughs for the premiere showing of the season's first episode of "Around the Corner with John McGivern" on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017, 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Tripoli Shrine Center, 3000 W. Wisconsin.

Last season which can be seen here focused on the neighborhood east of 27th street, Avenues West. The Irish Cultural and Heritage Center hosted the party with over 350 in attendance. See picture from last year below.

This year (check out the preview) John and his team are focused on the West End of the Near West Side, neighborhoods west of 27th Street.

Harley-Davidson, Troop Cafe, and many of our local businesses and community leaders will be highlighted in this episode.

In addition to highlighting the neighborhoods, MillerCoors will have a special Near West Side IPA (with seven unique hops representing seven Near West Side neighborhoods) for free for that night only. You must register here to taste this craft beer that will not be sold in stores.
