Taking an active role in the community

A full time job, 3 very active kids (17, 14 & 13), and a dog keep Robin Muller busy. For most, that would be enough. But Robin felt called to play a bigger role in the community. She is actively involved in the Historic Concordia Neighborhood Inc. (HCNI), and is working toward improved community engagement and showcasing the many wonderful features of this near west side neighborhood.

Robin earned her degree from UWM in Geography with a certificate in Urban Planning. Her professional experience includes a position for the Southeast Chicago Development Commission and Business Improvement District. Locally, she has served on the HCNI board and for several years on the annual home tour planning committee. Most recently, with a group of neighbors, she helped launch the HCNI virtual tour app.

Robin and her family moved to HCNI 13 years ago after purchasing her first home. She has a vision of driving on State Street with glowing streetlights enhancing the beauty of the homes. With the work she is doing, her dream is coming to life.
