Power of the Partnership - Wiegand Enterprises

Developer, visionary and board president are just a few of the titles given to Business Improvement District #10 board president, Rick Wiegand. Mr. Wiegand has been a major player in the Near West Side for over 20 years and has a sterling reputation among many stakeholders including his peers.

Rick is at the helm of Wiegand Enterprises operating the Ambassador Hotel among many other properties. However, his secret to success many would say has been his strong management team.

Kent Cory and the staff at Wiegand Enterprises lead by example by supporting the longest running landlord compact, the Near West Side Landlord Compact and sharing their lessons learned.

Rick also supports the many activities of the NWSP and Avenues West Association. For over 15 years Avenues West Association luncheons have been held at the Ambassador Hotel. These business meetings bring community partners together quarterly throughout the year.

Mr. Wiegand also has been a big supporter of the Mobile Design Box and project that has been beneficial to the resurgence of activity on 27th Street.
